Kick That Bitch!

If you ain't kick started a bike, you ain't a biker.

It's true you can sometimes get injured kickin' the Ol' girl but hey, do what this guy did 'have crutches will travel'.

Ladies first.

There is even a step-by-step instructional webpage to help you out if you've never kick started a scoot.

The King never had a problem kickin' it Ol' Skool, and it's a Sporty to boot (they are notoriously difficult, finicky if you will, to start).

Check this dude kickin' his 75' Shovel. It's a flame thrower when he's not ridin' it.

SIK Scoots

If I ever win the lottery, I'm gonna be knockin' on this guys shop door. The builder of this SIK scooter is Dalton Walker, his shop is called Split Image Kustoms.

His bikes, (like this beauty featured in Easyriders) are hand crafted, drop dead sexy custom works of art!

Dalton is truly one of the best, new 'master buildres' out there. In a world of bolt on, store bought, cookie cutter knock offs... Dalton's chops/bobs stand out. For example, on this bike he hand built the frame and front end... and just about everything else.

I mean just take a peek at the unique exhaust system, it's killer!

Walker's 46' knuckle was awarded best in show at the 2011 David Mann Chopperfest.

Check it, a chain driven generator. Yep, f#ckn' radical!

Here's what Walker had to say about this head turning original rolling piece of art: "I was trying to nail the ‘60s–‘70s show bike look without breaking the bank—I’ve got less than 10k’s into the whole build, but thousands of hours."

Need more proof of his metal mastery, well Micheal Lichter also profiled one of his award winning bikes, check it here.

Hm, flying brass knuckles. I think Von Dutch would even approve.

Aces High

Tank art.

This artwork brought a number of tunes to mind, but I think the following video courtesy of Iron Maiden will suffice.

Enjoy.

Happy Birthday 'Rock 'N' Roll'

On this day in Motörhead history 09/05/1987, the album 'Rock 'N' Roll' is released.

It was produced by: Motörhead and Guy Bidmead under the GWR label.

Line up:
Lemmy Kilmister: bass, vocals
Phillip Campbell: guitars
Wurzel: guitars
Phil Taylor: drums

Tracks:
Rock 'n' Roll
Eat the Rich
Blackheart
Stone Deaf in the USA
The Wolf
Traitor
Dogs
All for You
Boogeyman

Alan Burridge of Motörheadbanger (Motörhead's official fan club) had this to say about the album.

Pete Gill had gone his way and Phil Taylor had returned and we're firmly entrenched in Motörhead classics with this album in every way. The title track is one of my anthems of life (thanks Lem) and one which we all most surely must recognize as Motörhead fans. Classics indeed, favorites for me being the title, Blackheart and the first I believe, Motörhead love song in All For You. Whatever you make of it is up to you. Brilliant both musically and lyrically, sung by Lem so plaintively. Another one never played live which should have been. Let's hope they drag it kicking and screaming into their set someday.
