Motörhead at Cherokee Rally

No pics or video from the Cherokee show yet, but as a preview to the Sept. 11/09 Cherokee Survivors Bike Rally in Cherokee, N.C.,

Matthew Everett of metropulse.com in Knoxville TN. sat down with Motörhead front man Lemmy Kilmister.

He wanted to discuss his music and the bands quote: "well-known songs 'Overkill', 'Bomber', 'Iron Fist' & 'Motorhead' that have become anthems for bikers, burn-outs, and speed freaks around the world". His words not mine. Matt's article entitled: Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister Remembers Three Decades in the Baddest-Ass Rock 'n' Roll Band Ever was published Sept. 9/09.

Some pics from the rally.

A trophy and a potato? Hm, what's she gonna do with that?

Matthew also penned this article 'Six Awesome Things About Motörhead Besides the Ace of Spades'.

There's a rider & passenger who is very happy with their award. I have no idea what it's for but the guy on the right in the back looks like some one took his ball and won't give it back.
